WHAT IS FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY?
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is an assisted table-based stretching system that focuses on the connective tissue in your body (aka fascia) as the key element in achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief.
FST is non-invasive and one of the quickest, most effective and pleasant methods to eliminate pain, restore function, move and feel better in activities of life, fitness and sports.

WHAT IS
FASCIA?
Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. Healthy fascia is smooth, slippery and flexible. It’s designed to stretch as you move, but there are certain factors that can cause fascia to thicken and become sticky. This includes a sedentary lifestyle, repetitive movement and injury/trauma. When your fascia tightens up around muscles, it can limit mobility and cause painful knots to develop. Untreated fascia restrictions can create body-wide compensations.

​Yes, you can at MVPR Therapy! Our Lead Therapist is a Registered Massage Therapist and can bill your Fascial Stretch Therapy session under Massage Therapy.

Do I have to wear anything in particular?
Our FST/RMT sessions at MVPR Therapy won’t feel like your ‘typical spa massage’! Our goal is to help you move better, so please come prepared with shorts and a sports bra/tank top as you can expect to be up and moving periodically throughout your session.
