What is fascial stretch therapy?
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is therapist-assisted stretching that focuses on relieving pain and getting tight fascia and muscle fibers to relax.

Whether you find yourself sitting for long periods of time at work, training at the gym, training for competitive sports, or recovering from an injury, FST can help lengthen and loosen up tension in your body in a safe and pain-free way. FST is a great complement to other therapies and treatments such as physiotherapy, massage therapy and chiropractic care, or as a stand-alone treatment to optimize your flexibility and increase your range of motion.
What is Fascia?
Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. Healthy fascia is smooth, slippery and flexible. It’s designed to stretch as you move, but there are certain factors that can cause fascia to thicken and become sticky. This includes a sedentary lifestyle, repetitive movement and injury/trauma. When your fascia tightens up around muscles, it can limit mobility and cause painful knots to develop.
